- In time for the start of the Mt. Apoi climbing season on April 13, we installed toilet booths near the fifth-stage mountain lodge. On our way back, we spotted shojobakama (Heloniopsis orientalis) blooming serenely along the trail, signaling the start of Mt. Apoi’s flower season.
