A compact shrine to the guardian deity Acala stands to the upper left of a small bridge along the forest road. Behind the shrine is a small waterfall known as Fudo-no-sawa, and nearby are outcrops of a typical Horoman peroditite rock called plagioclase lherzolite, which is a peridotite type that lost little of its magma content after partially melting. Another peridotite type known as harzburgite, which is a residual kind highly depleted of its magma content, is found in the area from the bridge to the upstream riverbank.
